Sea Buckthorn Berry (called “Tirku” in the local language) grows primarily in the Himalayan Mountains (Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh), which makes it particularly hearty. It is called “Holy Fruit” among the locals there and the Perfect Natura Dietary Supplement by NASA.
Sea Buckthorn Berries are hand Picked by the tribal people of the Spiti district of Himachal. Sea buckthorn has multiple uses due to its protein-building amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, K, A, E, and folic acid, over 60 antioxidants, at least 20 minerals, and healthy fatty acids, all of which make it a “Super food”.
